Our Wheel of London was originally created as a hand-made paper cutting.
THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN ...
The design is inspired by the wonderful period of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
A time when the United Kingdom came together as one nation through teamwork, respect, humour, and a desire to create the most exceptional Games ever. A time when the London Underground (just under 150 year’s young at the time) was re-purposed fantastically to connect London with the world.
Key London landmarks are illustrated on our bright and bold fine bone china in four striking colours. The sharp-eyed amongst you will note the Olympic Rings on the Tower Bridge design and the clouds used for the Opening Ceremony.
Available in 10.5-inch and 8-inch plates and mugs, created to complement each other. Deliberately designed to make a statement. Great to eat off, great to hang on walls. Uniquely London. Uniquely Ed’s.
